EDITORIAL WELCOME FOR VOLUME 19 ISSUE 1 (APRIL 2025)
It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 20, Issue 1 of Novitas-ROYAL, marking a significant milestone in the journal’s scholarly journey. Since its establishment in 2007, Novitas-ROYAL has steadily evolved into a respected international platform for research in language, literature, linguistics, and education. The journal’s inclusion in more than twenty prestigious indexing databases—including SCOPUS and TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM (TR Dizin)—reflects its growing academic impact and commitment to maintaining high standards of scholarly rigor and integrity.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of publishing contributions from researchers representing more than fifty countries, fostering a truly global dialogue across diverse academic traditions and perspectives. The reach of Novitas-ROYAL continues to expand, engaging an ever-growing readership and strengthening its role as a conduit for innovative and interdisciplinary research. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of our authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and readers. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who have contributed to sustaining and advancing the journal’s mission.
With the launch of our twentieth volume, this issue brings together a rich and diverse collection of studies that address contemporary and pressing questions in language education, literary studies, linguistics, and broader educational contexts. The articles featured herein reflect a wide range of methodological approaches and theoretical orientations, offering nuanced insights into the dynamic relationship between language, culture, and society. In particular, this issue highlights critical perspectives on youth, language practices, and educational transformations in an increasingly interconnected and digitalized world.
We believe that the research presented in this issue not only contributes to ongoing academic conversations but also opens new avenues for inquiry and interdisciplinary collaboration. We hope that these studies will inspire further research, inform pedagogical practices, and stimulate critical reflection among scholars and practitioners alike.
As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to fostering high-quality research and providing a vibrant platform for scholarly exchange. We thank you for your continued support and invite you to engage with the thought-provoking contributions in this issue.
